The Kolos Coffee Table is crafted from a plaster mold in a traditional ceramics workshop, where skilled artisans apply layers of polish before kiln-firing the piece to achieve its luminous finish. While the surface feels glossy and smooth, the depth and texture of the material remain evident. The edges absorb less pigment, resulting in lighter tones, while color intensifies within the rounded contours, accentuating its sculptural form and visual richness.
More than a functional surface, Kolos serves as a striking decorative statement, designed to anchor and elevate a living space. Its eccentric aesthetic offers a playful, ironic reinterpretation of the Colosseum’s architecture.
