The Confluence dining table by Pianca is an ideal addition to a modern dining room. Geometric and eye-catching, the base features a unique crisscross design that makes the table stand out without being overbearing. Because the base is on the floor and not in the center, there is plenty of legroom during meals. The spacious top fits guests with ease and stays durable even with everyday use. Pair with a myriad of Pianca dining chairs to form a cohesive design concept in the area.
Manufactured in Italy to ensure quality and designed by the one-of-a-kind Xavier Lust, the Confluence dining table is easily customized. The top comes in laminate and wood finishes, while the base comes in various metal colors.

Xavier Lust was born in 1969 and studied Interior Design at the Institut Saint Luc, before starting his studio in Brussels, the Xavier Lust Design Studio, dealing with four different sectors of design: Furniture and industrial production, limited editions and pieces for art galleries, interior design and industrial and urban design. In 2000 Lust started to design for MDF Italia, an ongoing relationship that got him in contact with various studios he would later collaborate with and make iconic pieces.
Xavier Lust's designs are distinct because of his use of tension and curves that deforms the metal surface. Lust was awarded the Compasso d'Oro, a great honor in the design world. His iconic work is displayed in museums around the world as well as various design publications. Lust frequently guest lectures at leading art and design institutions around the world.
The history of the Italian design firm Pianca reaches back over 500 years, back to the time when the banks of the river Pianca were dotted with watermills that supported the area’s carpentry industry. Founded in 1946 in the small town of Gaiarine, Pianca continues the region’s tradition of crafting furniture with care. Although the company now uses modern technology, it still employs hands-on craftsmanship, as evidenced by touches such as sawn-oak finishes.
The company takes pride in employing young talent as well as famed European designers, to ensure that their designs incorporate new ideas and innovations. At Pianca, adding convenience and function to contemporary homes is as important as adding a sophisticated style.
“The combination of beauty and function” is Pianca’s motto, and this is evident in the extensive line of contemporary furnishings. The room service 360° collection from Pianca includes everything needed to furnish homes decorated in the modern interior design style, including a broad array of sofas, beds, tables, chairs, sideboards, wall units, and mirrors. Purchasing a piece of Pianca Italian furniture is an investment in uncompromised elegance, refinement, and style.
