Gino ColombiniGino Colombini was a talented Italian designer who won the Compasso d'Oro in 1955, 1957, 1958, 1959, and 1960. He was the technical director at the world-renowned company Kartell from 1953-1960, where he helped keep operations running smoothly, as well as designing new household objects that helped Kartell become a household name.
His designs include a lemon squeezer, a carpet beater, washbasins, lunch boxes, and a scoop with a long handle, so you didn't have to bend over with a dustpan anymore. He also designed an iconic round umbrella stand that is both practical and eye-catching. All of these products are made with plastic, as Kartell is known for, making them sustainable for generations.
