    One of the most well-known female furniture designers is Patricia Urquiola. Born in Spain and trained in Italy, Urquiola's designs are characterized by their innovative use of materials and textures. Her work earned her numerous awards, including the title of Designer of the Year at Maison & Objet in 2016. Urquiola has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including B&B Italia, Kartell, Moroso, and Foscarini.
