Havana Floor Lamp
The Havana floor lamp is simple and sophisticated, featuring a classic silhouette with modern minimalism. The unique structure resembles a cigar, which is the inspiration for the name of this eye-catching lamp. Part of the design collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, the lamp is available in white color. Designed by the talented Jozeph Forakis for Foscarini and manufactured in Italy to ensure a quality product.
The Havana floor lamp features diffused light that softens the brightness for a convenient feature. The diffuser consists of four injection-molded polyethylene parts joined by chromed metal hooks. Base, diffuser support, and rod are made of epoxy powder-coated aluminum or chromed metal. ON/OFF switch is fitted onto the transparent cable.

As the son of artists, Jozeph Forakis has always been passionate about design and his background inspires his work with theatrical and artistic elements. Before he started his studio in 2002, he collaborated with various iconic Italian brands, including Foscarini, for which he produced the Havana light that put Foscarini securely at the top of the contemporary lighting scene.
Jozeph Forakis' designs are innovative, and his experimental use of materials and techniques makes his projects unique. He is an award-winning designer with international accolades that make him well known and respected. Some of his work is on display at MoMA as well as at other exhibits around the world.
