Asteria is a contemporary suspension lamp that reinterprets the traditional multi-arm chandelier with a refined and minimalist approach. Designed by Alberto and Francesco Meda, it balances function and decoration through a sleek formal language defined by soft curves, dynamic arm arrangements, and high-quality light. Its design moves beyond rigidity, combining innovative materials with LED technology to create a harmonious and elegant lighting solution. Suitable for both residential and commercial spaces, Asteria is offered in multiple configurations, from a single version with six arms in various sizes to a more elaborate multi-level composition with eighteen arms (available on request), making it a versatile and visually striking centerpiece, available in rosso scuro and titanio finishes.

At the core of the design are its curved aluminum arms, each integrating an LED light source that diffuses softly upward and outward through a semi-transparent silicone screen, creating a gentle ambient glow while emphasizing the lamp’s floating form. A recessed LED spotlight positioned in the central cylindrical structure provides focused downward illumination, ideal for task lighting without glare. The dual-switch system allows independent control of the ambient and direct lighting, enabling flexible atmosphere creation. Made in Italy and constructed from liquid-coated extruded aluminum and suspended by cables from a canopy housing the transformer, Asteria combines advanced engineering with understated elegance to deliver both performance and visual impact.
