Front is a Swedish design studio based in Stockholm, comprised of members Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren. Their design philosophy features them at the helm of every step of development, from the initial idea to the final yield. Ultimately, they hope to communicate a tale to the admirer about this process through their product, whether they focus on the material or the conventions that led to its shape and function.

The studio’s style is constantly changing, but they’ve come to create “explosive” objects, robotic accessories, and a series of furniture rooted in their passion for magic, to name a few. Other inspiration comes from animals, computers, and machines. It’s all given them quite a name; some of their works have been represented at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Centre de Pompidou in France.
