Daniel Libeskind

Born in Poland in 1946, Daniel Libeskind and became an American citizen in 1965. After studying Music in Israel and New York, and becoming a virtuoso performer, he started studying architecture, earning his architectural degree in 1970 from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City.

Daniel Libeskind’ s commitment to his craft reflects his profound interest and involvement in philosophy, art, literature, and music in architecture. Fundamental to Libeskind’ s vision is the belief that buildings are made with human energy that can be felt by people around them. He designs all types of buildings, including public and private spaces. In addition, he designs opera sets and has a research department for industrial design. Libeskind teaches at universities across the world as well to share his knowledge with the world.
