Bruno Rainaldi
Known as a "street designer" with a "chaotically strict" style, Bruno Rainaldi grew up in the design world and always knew he wanted to contribute to it himself. He founded Rare Design and then began many professional collaborations with prestigious Italian brands such as Alivar, MDF, Mussi Italy, Sintesi, Terzani, Slamp, Casprini, Annibale Colombo, Bilumen, and more. In his long and successful career, he has designed libraries, tables, chairs, sofas, beds, accessories, and light fixtures, all of which are one-of-a-kind. His project, PTOLOMEO Library, was the winner of the Golden Compass 2004.
His designs use a playful amount of geometry as well as a combination of linear accents and bold angles. All of his products are both stunning and practical, making them ideal additions to contemporary settings. By using minimalistic elements and incredibly detailed touches, his products are durable and sustainable for years to come.
