Mario Milana

Born in Milan, Mario Milana has called New York his home since 2005, but his work is successful and respected all over the world. After eight years working with Karim Rashid and honing his craft, Milana started his studio. From his past experiences and background, he creates unique designs that make a statement in a modern setting.

A cardinal element of his stylistic approach is the fusion of geometry and simplicity of line with the concept of dynamism. His pieces rotate, not just in shape but actually moves: the backrest, parts of a table, or a screen, that morphs into different configurations.
