Cristian Wicha

Cristian Wicha is a multi-talented award-winning man in industrial design, woodworking, photography, and sculpting. This creative mastermind earned a BFA from the Corcoran in 1991 and went on to receive an MFA in Industrial Design from Rochester Institute of Technology. He's based in DC and previously worked for BDI as an in house designer with many innovative products under his belt.

Although the works of mid-century modern masters inspire his designs, Cristian WIcha's designs clearly fit in the 21st century. Cristian Wicha looks at furniture design as an extension of the sculptor’s art, which is a perspective that is reflected in his compositions and always tend to push the limits of conventional thought.
